THE HIDDEN ROOM

There is a room no one else is invited into.
Not the workspace.
Not the platform.
Not the polished version of your life.
Jesus says, "Go into your room, shut the door..."(Matthew 6:6)
Before anything
public, there is something private.
Before anything visible, there is something interior.
And if we borrow the language of stitchwork - this is where the seam is formed.
No one applauds a seam.
No one photographs the underside of a dress.
But without it, nothing holds.
The hidden room is the underside.
It is where threads cross quietly.
When the tension pulls just tight enough.
Where strength is bult beneath what will one day be seen.
We often mistake hiddenness for insignificance.
But scripture never treats it that way.
The Father who sees in secret is not waiting for your performance. He is watching the weaving.
In the hidden room:
Motives are aligned.
Desires are refined.
Identity is stitched securely before exposure tests it.
Writers know this tension well.
There are drafts no one reads.
Notes no one affirms.
Prayers no one hears.
But these are not wasted threads.
They are structural.
What is formed privately carries integrity publicly.
A garment rushed at the seam will easily unravel under pressure.
A life rushed in formation will fracture under visibility.
So maybe the hidden room is not the delay.
Maybe it is reinforcement.
Maybe God is not withholding the platform.
Maybe He is strengthening the stitching.
And when the time comes to step into the open, you will not be fragile.
You will be held together.
